What I do, and how I do it

WHAT I DO

Behind every successful executive is someone who helps them see what they can't see alone.

Over the last decade, I've coached hundreds of senior executives, founders, and nonprofit leaders across finance, tech, healthcare, government, and social impact.

From guiding someone into a C-suite role, to helping a founder rebuild confidence after burnout, to supporting a leader through a purpose-driven pivot, my work lives at the intersection of transformation and clarity.

MY STORY

I'm part of the sandwich generation. Like many of you, I'm caring for aging parents while still caring for kids. At the same time, I'm starting to think more seriously about my own health. And on top of all that, there's a demanding career. Something has to give.

That pressure forced me to pause and ask hard questions: What really matters? What version of success am I chasing—and is it mine?

For a long time, I believed success meant fulfilling responsibilities, accumulating wealth, and climbing ever higher. But the truth I came to see is simpler: I'd been chasing a version of success that wasn't mine.

That shift changed the trajectory of my career—and led me to help others create careers that feel aligned, not just impressive on paper.

My entrepreneurial journey started in my twenties when I launched a strategic consulting firm for financial services companies. The 2008 financial crisis tested everything. I pivoted the business into a data analytics firm serving asset and wealth management clients—a move that led to a successful acquisition by a publicly traded company.

After the acquisition, I stepped into a global leadership role overseeing divisions including AI and digital. Leading innovation at scale taught me how to balance big vision with execution—how to build systems that grow while staying grounded in impact.

After five years in the corporate world, I followed a new calling. I co-founded a value-based primary care practice focused on healthcare equity in underserved communities. By combining data, AI, and community-informed care, we addressed systemic gaps in healthcare. Our work led to another acquisition, where I continue to develop tech-enabled care solutions for Medicare and Medicaid populations.

These pivots brought me closer to the work I now do through Coaching Metta.

What Does "Coaching Metta" Mean?

The name comes from the Buddhist practice of Metta meditation, also known as loving-kindness meditation. Metta means unconditional goodwill, compassion, and benevolence—qualities essential in personal growth and in how we navigate our careers and leadership journeys.

Just as Metta meditation helps break down internal barriers to self-acceptance, Coaching Metta is about breaking free from limiting beliefs, external expectations, and outdated definitions of success.

This isn't coaching that tells you what to do. It's a thinking partnership that helps you see what you can't see alone.
